Today was a very different storey. Not because I received individualised care, but because I was treated with the dignity that a patient deserves. I noted that the staff is typically kind and understands how to treat individuals with care and respect; this was not the case with me today, but it was with other patients. Though it will take time, the cultural shift can be achieved with everyone’s help.
